Founded in 1994

Phoenix Mall was the first shopping centre with a hypermarket to open in Mauritius in 1994. The hypermarket, which was then Continent, took the shopping experience in Mauritius to a whole new level. In 2008, the shopping centre was acquired by Foresite Property, the property arm of Rogers Co. Ltd and transferred to Ascencia, its property fund.

In 2010, the shopping centre was extended in order to accommodate more shops and hence, offer a wider choice to visitors. The commercial centre today has more than 55 shops with a mix of renowned local and international brands.
