Ox and Stone is a Latin inspired kitchen with craft cocktails and a warm and lively candlelit atmosphere. Set within the walls of a historic 1880 home, it is reminiscent of a castle with its grand stairway, arched doorways and ceilings, mahogany woodwork, and exposed brick. The bar and dining areas are sprawling and interweaving, encouraging of late night mingling and grazing, but with separate lounge areas and an upstairs room, intended mostly for private events, that looks out a windowed turret over Alexander Street.

The menu will be inspired by fresh home-cooked Latin flavors and dishes but with an American culinary flair, such as ox tail corquettes, steak fajitas and duck confit tacos. Tortillas are made from scratch in house, and regular menu items and specials will largely capitalize on seasonal items and fresh ingredients. A full bar will offer traditional cocktails, as well as house concoctions centered on an extensive tequila list, crafted with care and complimented well by several tapas items to be featured on the menu.

The restaurant and social house strives to provide its patrons with a warm and inviting atmosphere, marked by a high level of service, and a unique, enjoyable, and consistent dining and drinking experience. Ox and Stone will be open for lunch and dinner, Tuesday-Saturday, with late night kitchen hours on Friday and Saturday.
