The Knotty Pine is the oldest restaurant in Front Royal and one of the oldest in the Shenandoah Valley. Built in 1938, it was originally a dairy and has not closed its doors for one day since it opened (except for Christmas). We're up at 5:30 for breakfast, which is served all day, along with lunch, dinner and some of the best country cookin' around. There's a bar in the back frequented by locals and good ol' boys. It is owned and operated by the Vaught family, who welcome you to the Pine..."Where Friends Gather"
