Situated in the heart of the market town, Stroud in Gloucestershire, JRooL (pronounced drool) Bistro is the perfect place to enjoy freshly prepared and honest food in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. The building itself dates back to 1664 and was the stables to the inn across the street. With open beams and a wood burning stove inside to the original well in our beautiful courtyard the bistro oozes character and charm.

With its informal yet stylish ambience, JRooL Bistro is perfect for all manner of occasions whether its a romantic meal for two or a birthday party for 20. We have up to 35 covers inside and a further 30 outside. Our constantly evolving menu embraces seasonal ingredients, sourced locally to create the most tempting of cuisine.

JRooL Bistro is Stroud’s best kept dining secret and the place in the Cotswolds for fresh seafood and game.
