The White Cross Pub is peacefully set in a 130 year old former cotton mill warehouse. We are on the edge of the Lancaster Canal and just five minutes walk from Lancaster City Centre.
The White Cross offers an excellent range of freshly prepared home cooked food, the best selection of cask ales in the city, fine wines, ciders, chilled lagers and a warm friendly welcome.
When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings – including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're Lancashire's favourite carvery restaurant.
In the heart of historic Lancaster, The Toll House Inn (was Penny Street Bridge) is an ideal location for exploring the city on foot or heading out to the coast and countryside. Originally the site of the old Toll House at the gateway to the city, the imposing Victorian listed building has a wealth of architectural features inside- all of which have been retained as part of major re-development in 2007.

Our food menu includes home made pizzas, fresh pastas, paninis and a full breakfast menu!
