Johnnie was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He moved to Albany, New York in the 60's after the military. After various jobs and driving cabs, he found a successful career and had a family. His dream was to move back to Jacksonville, FL and start an automotive business with his brothers or a bar in Albany, New York. Upon his death, he started on his venture of starting a bar. Due to his passing, with the support of family, his children wanted to continue his dream. JP's is open from 2 in the afternoon until 2:30 in the morning Wednesday through Friday! Saturday & Sunday we open at noon! On the weekdays, we do karaoke; Wednesday, Kris hosts the show, and Thursday you've got Willy puttin' your songs up for you. Friday and Saturday nights we've got all the best hits with Kris.
