Castor was opened in August 2017 in the heart of downtown Corvallis, OR. Castor is focused heavily on local, organic, and sustainable harvest & foraged products as much as possible. We want to take the middle man out. Where we are located in the PNW gives us a bounty of ingredients and gives us the opportunity to work directly with our providers.
Our wine program is passionately and thoughtfully designed around small, organic or natural wineries. We focus on wineries with unique stories. We want to showcase a wine you may have not had before.
Castor is comprised of two different seating areas: Bar/Lounge area and Back Dining Room. The same menus are available in both areas with the exception of the recess time (happy hour) menu, which is served in the bar/lounge area only between the hours of 4pm to 6pm and 9 to close. We take reservations of parties four to twelve guests for the back-dining room. The bar/lounge area is available on a first come first serve basis. To book a reservation, you may text or call us at 541.231.3322 between the hours of noon to 5pm. If we don’t answer, please leave a message with your name, party size, desired date & time, and your phone number—and we will call you back. To better serve our guests, our phone will be silenced at 5pm. We look forward to hearing from you.
We take up to 5 credit cards per table.
Private Parties--
Parties above 14 is a case by case basis. Parties up to 34 guests can be accommodated in our back-dining room with a rental fee and prix fixe menu. To arrange a time to discuss and view the dining space please call-541.231.3322. Please give us at least a month notice before the planned event date.
