SOUP stands for Sharing Our Ugly Produce! We focus on increasing the security of our food system while simultaneously working to reduce local food waste. Local farmers support our mission by donating unsellable, or "ugly" produce, that we can then take and turn into a beautiful meal for the people in the community- with the people in the community. We want everyone that comes to leave with a full stomach, as well as a sense of belonging to a community. We work together to prepare and cook different meals each week, so everybody attending can gain more of an insight into what goes into the food...
