Best Western Cartland Bridge Hotel (formerly Baronald House) was built on the Baronald Estate in the late 1880’s as the private residence of Mr James Farie of Farme. The Architect, Sir John James Burnet, exhibited the House designs in the Munich Fine Art Exhibition in 1890 and the RSA Exhibition in London in 1891.
