The newly refurbished 120-seater restaurant can cater for group bookings and coach parties (booking is advisable).
The business is owned and run by John Thompson who started in Stamford Bridge, where he developed his own particular style of preparing fish and chips for his customers. He expanded the business to include a takeaway in Wetwang which became very successful; he later sold the business in 2001.
John then spent some time looking for the ideal location for a new business and in 2003 he found a site at Hazelbush on the A64. He started from scratch with a new, purpose built building specifically designed to his own plans; a large restaurant, a separate takeaway counter and large car park that can also take coaches. After 10 years he has again recently refurbished the restaurant completely providing comfortable, modern and relaxing seating for couples, families, large parties and business people; an ideal stopover on the way to the coast!
