A Family business started 12 years ago saw a building - formally The Church Rectory - go through a much needed transformation and over the years has built up a reputation based on quality.
The atmosphere of the inn is informal, as it should be, and friendly with a good core of regular custom both for food and drink.
Start out your day with a filling and nutritious breakfast from The Old Rectory restaurant. Our in house Chefs ultimate fry ups are legendary.
Enjoy a taste of the country with our rustic breakfast table selection.
Our kitchen uses the freshest produce from Scotland's larder. Choose from country cereals and grains, honey roast ham, juices, rustic breads, Scottish cheddar, fresh fruit, yoghurt and compotes.
Breakfast is served from 8.30 am till 9.30 am
Bar meals are served from 11.30 am till 9 pm summer season.
Our Light lunch, snack and brunch menu is served throughout the day so basically you dine whenever it suits you
Breakfast is included in your room rate so relax and enjoy.
The Old Rectory Dining
Gray’s Scottish Restaurant at The Old Rectory is named after a past owner” Reverend Alan Gray”, and is brought right up to date by Tim and Jane Warbrick, Tim being The Reverend Grays Grandson.
If you are looking for traditional choices using local produce where possible or delicious food, with a modern take on traditional classics then The Old Rectory Inn is just the place for you.

The Restaurant is open during the summer months from 8.30 am till 9 pm serving breakfast, brunch, snacks, cakes & scones and dinner.
Please note that all food is freshly prepared to order so a wait at busy times has to be expected.

Our Pub forms the backbone of The Old Rectory Inn and a warm welcome invites you into our cosy bar area where we have selected beers, lagers and ciders available in bottles and on draught.
On warm, sunny days the garden allows for outside dining.
We Have Live Contempary Scottish Music here every Wednesday Night and Sunday Afternoons
We host Quiz night every Tuesday night, our quizzes are good fun and taken to seriously at all.
Our spirit collection is vast, with an array of gins, we also have a hefty whisky collection including local and further afield whiskies.
If you're looking to get together with friends, The Old Rectory Inn is one of the best places in the area to swap stories, drink in the atmosphere and savour some great drinks with some great characters.
The Old Rectory Rooms
Our accommodation offers four individually decorated bedrooms,. On staying with us, our guests are provided with modern facilities such as a flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facility, hairdryer and wireless internet connection.
We also provide a ‘DVD library’ and several board games to while away the odd rainy day.
Additional comforts include fluffy bathrobes and complimentary toiletries.
On awakening a wholesome home cooked breakfast of your choice is offered in the Restaurant, whilst you browse through the daily papers.
All our rooms are Non- Smoking and since we have a restaurant downstairs we don’t allow any takeaway food in the rooms plus it really stink up the rooms !!
