"For God and Country" - The American Legion was founded on March 15th, 1919. The Legion has over 2 million members worldwide.

The American Legion Bicentennial Post 333 was chartered in July 1976. with over 40 members. Our first Commander was L.E. Sonny Andrews of Key Largo, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Operating at several Upper Keys locations over the succeeding years, we have been at our current location (formely the Hideoiut Restaurant) since 2009. We are honored to host The Sons of the American Legion squadron, The Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Riders.
