Welcome to our page. We are a part of Wyevale Garden Centres, bringing joy and inspiration to everyone's garden.

Back in the 1960s, the land on which the centre lies was a strawberry field; in 1972 it was bought by a Mr Lidl who built the first garden centre building, sowing the seeds of our thriving horticultural business four decades ago. The centre lies next to two huge rabbit warrens, whose inhabitants have reached a very successful truce with the current manager... they live in peace on the proviso they don't eat the plants and vegetables. So far, so good!

We sell top quality growing stock, gardening products and garden furniture as well as birdcare products, houseplants and books. We also have a fabulous giftware and greeting card department and at Christmas, an inspiring display of decorations, lights and trees. Our restaurant sells delicious home-made snacks and lunches whilst our staff are friendly and helpful horticultural experts who pride themselves on giving good practical advice to expert and amateur gardeners alike.
