WSU Crimson Confections

WSU Crimson Confections is a student-run business producing the world’s first commercial Cougar chocolates. Founded in 2016, the company is the product of WSU’s Hospitality Business Management, Food Science, Marketing, and Engineering students who combined their talents to create something novel. Student lead Jessica Murray, advisor Chef Jamie Callison, and multiple other students have been instrumental in the startup and launch of Crimson Confections.
Working in the Marriott Hospitality teaching kitchen in the Carson College of Business, students handcraft a variety of truffles made from locally sourced ingredients and vendors.
