The name El Cerro Grande is inspired by a “Big Hill” close to their family ranch.
El Cerro Grande began as an idea to provide authentic, quality Mexican food with exceptional and friendly service, and the door of their first restaurant was opened in Wilmington, NC in January 1991. It has since grown to include three locations in Wilmington.
