The diner culture hasn't changed for over a quarter of a century. Here at Mel's we serve homemade food with fast, friendly service, at prices everyone can afford. We're known for our Old-Fashioned Home-Cooked Favorites, Signature Sandwiches, our Famous Burgers, our Mel's Diner Sensational Salads and our All You Can Eat Fish Fry. We still make our own meat loaf, roast our own turkeys, hand-patty our famous burgers, hand-dip the ice cream for our milkshakes, smoke our baby-back ribs, hand-bread our fish, make mile-high pies and serve daily blue plates.
We started out with Nevermind "Awesome Bar & Eatery" and have since expanded to our outdoor Beastie Bar and Back Porch and Animal House Speakeasy. In addition we have Nevermind "Live", our concert venue. Each part is a different experience geared towards the foodies and cocktailers of Southwest Florida and beyond.
