The Tally-Ho public bar reopened as The Two Bulls Steakhouse. The old function room has been restored and is open for the first time in many years.
With a bright and fresh feel - The Lounge Bar is managed by an old town girl, Karen O’Grady with landlady Delphine Dupraz and her family still minding the restaurant.
The lounge bar has classy a 30’s feel with vintage leather seating and subtle lighting. The music will of course, all be tastefully out of date but the service, as in the restaurant, will be very up to the minute. If this wasn’t genuinely a very beautiful old building with a fantastic original interior you might call it a ‘themed bar’ but it really isn’t. In this case it is quite simply, a beautiful old lounge bar.
If you’ve not tried the steakhouse then a Google search for The Two Bulls will give you a very good idea of the high standards of service which this outfit strives for and a look at TripAdvisor.com, the on-line review site, shows that they clearly achieve this, almost without fail.
