Inventive New American 40-seater in Northeast Philadelphia from executive chef Kris Serviss and co-owner Joe Callahan.
Lunch. Dinner. Brunch. BYOB. Quack.
Located in Northeast Philadelphia (2859 Holme Ave.), Blue Duck Sandwich Company is a comfortable, homey, B.Y.O.B. that offers lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch as well as takeout daily.
Childhood friends Kris Serviss (executive chef) and Joe Callahan (co-owner), partnered to launch their first restaurant mere feet from their grade school, St. Jerome and blocks from their high school, Father Judge.
Everyday menu items range from $7-$11 and include the 2014 Philadelphia Burger Brawl champion and Philly Magazine's "Best of Philly" 2015 Pork Roll Burger (topped with Sriracha mayo and a fried egg), and "Quack & Cheese." For dinner, Serviss allows his creativity to shine with offerings such as bacon-wrapped wild boar meatloaf, fresh seafood and homemade pastas.
