Rube's Meat Company's premium steaks and meats are available in our retail shop, on our website for home delivery and in many restaurants across Iowa.
We often get asked, “Why do Rube’s steaks taste so good?” The answer can be found right here on Iowa's (and sometimes nearby states) family farms. Our crew selects only the finest, locally-raised Black Angus beef, hand-cuts each portion, then wet-ages the beef for at least 28 days. This wet-aging process naturally tenderizes the meat and deepens the flavor, resulting in the signature Rube’s flavor and texture everyone loves.
You can pick up these same great steaks and more at our charming Meat Market at our new location right inside our steakhouse in Montour, Iowa. But what many people don’t know is that these same cuts are also available on our website for home delivery. Now that’s fresh!
