J Foster's is a family-owned and homemade ice cream shop in Avon and Simsbury, CT
We produce in small batches our quality homemade ice cream, soft serve, gelato, sorbet, sherbet and frozen yogurt.
We offer 32 flavors of ice cream every day and a varying selection of gelatos and sorbets. All our treats are homemade, including the waffle cones, whipped cream, and sliders.
We also offer custom cakes and pie for any occasion as well as ice cream novelties.
We begin with the finest dairy products available, pure bourbon and tahitian vanillas, imported cocoas, fresh roasted nuts and premium in season fruits to create ice creams unequaled in quality and taste.
We minimize the amount of air whipped into our ice cream, unlike most others. As a result our ice cream is denser, richer in taste, creamier and full of flavor.
