Filter nasce dalla voglia di regalare ad una città multiculturale come Pisa una coffeehouse in stile angloamericano dove il caffè diventi momento di aggregazione. In molte parti d’Italia, dove il caffè è un rito dal ‘700, si dice che per berlo siano necessarie le tre “C”: il Calore di un ambiente al chiuso, una buona Compagnia e un tetto per stare al Coperto. Filter, oltre ad un ambiente pieno di calore dall’atmosfera vibrante, perfettamente pensato per chi sorride al pensiero di una qualsiasi bevanda a base di caffeina, vi regala il tempo. Prendetevi tutto il tempo che vi serve, che sia per bere un caffè, fare colazione, pranzare, o semplicemente riempire di parole i vostri amici o colleghi mentre guardano la loro tazza vuota incerti sul come interrompervi. Non saremo certo noi a farlo, perché questa è l’idea alla base di filter: rendere un semplice caffè l’occasione per fermarsi, almeno con i piedi.
Filter originates from our wish to bring an Anglo-American style coffee house to a multicultural town like Pisa, a place where coffee becomes a gathering moment. In many parts of Italy, where coffee has been a rite since the XVIII century, rumor has it that you cannot have your coffee without the three “Cs”, which stand for Calore, meaning warmth, Compagnia , meaning company, and Coperto, meaning a roof above your head. In addition to a warm place with a vibrant athmosphere that was passionately tailored for those who smile at the thought of any drink containing caffeine, filter gives you time. So, take all the time you need to sip your coffee, have breakfast, lunch, or incessantly talk to your friends or colleagues while they stare at their empty cup thinking how to interrupt you. We will not be the ones who stop you, because this is what filter aspires to: turn a simple cup of coffee into an occasion to rest, at least your feet.
