Our finest chefs, the freshest harvest from sea and land, a grassy foreshore and that Sunday vibe.
No dish over $8. Free entry.
Our annual locavore feast returns to Fishpen foreshore Sunday, March 12 with more than a baker’s dozen of fine chefs and producers ready to serve you the best of our harvest.
The heroes of the dishes are our sustainable seafood and seasonal catches classically crafted into paella, bouillabaisse, sushi, artisan pies and tarts.
From the fertile paddocks come organic and home grown pork, beef and lamb, slow cooked and embellished with sensational sides. Then comes dessert, a handpicked fruit and berry harvest combined with melt-in-your-mouth pastries, handmade chocolates and ice-cream.
Wash it down with handcrafted boutique beers & wines or a choose from a range of Australian and locally roasted coffee.
Pack your picnic rug and prepare to settle in on the grassy foreshore of Fishpen on Merimbula Lake for a lakeside feast between 10am and 3pm.
For an oyster experience like no other, join a farmer on the lake and discover why the humble mollusc is the focus of such devotion on the Sapphire Coast.
