Bloody Mary's features the best produce Canterbury & the South Island has to offer, a Grill experience unlike any other. You will want to Stake your claim!
Bishop Hugh Latimer and Queen ‘Bloody’ Mary had their differences which ended in a rather fiery episode leaving Latimer somewhat...... over-done. Forever honoured in the name of Latimer Square the Bishop has been reunited with the Queen in the form of Bloody Mary’s Bar-Lounge-Grill, proving already to be a much more complimentary partnership where everything is done to perfection - cocktails at the Bar, whiskey in the Lounge and dining at the Grill.
Mary’s grill concept is changing the dining landscape in Christchurch. The restaurant draws inspiration from the astounding produce found in Canterbury; seasonally focused, uncomplicated and approachable cuisine, attentive, knowledgeable and intuitive service will be hallmarks of this amazing dining experience. Taking the highest quality produce from some of the purest places on the earth and making them simply delicious.
The décor alludes to a handsome hide-out for the dapper; dark oak timber and bluestone feature throughout a sophisticated space of plush leather and rich fabric. The low-lit lounge has a softer more romantic feel perfect for evening contemplation over a whiskey or flagship cocktail. The cocktail list, favours the inventive over the classics, with a pleasingly large range of spirits served within Reidel glassware. Compliment your beverage with a choice of gourmet small plates also focussing on some of Canterbury’s finest produce.
For your very own piece of Mary’s try the private dining room, behind rolling oak doors is a sexy enclave for celebration perfect for secluded festivity.
