I started baking when my husband got colon cancer. It was my distraction from all the pain and care giving. I fell in love with it because I enjoy the science and chemistry behind the baking. The precisely measured ingredients, the rising of bread, and sweet taste of french macaroons are just some of the reasons I love this profession. I wanted to learn more and so I was classically trained in a pastry arts program in Oklahoma City. From there I have worked for a few restaurants baking breads and making desserts. Ultimately owning my own bakery and baking breads and pastries for people to enjoy was my dream.I love all things related to books or the beach. Preferably reading on the beach. I am a mother of two beautifully stubborn and smart children. We have a boy and a girl for which the bakery is names and that we absolutely adore. I have been married to my amazing husband for way to many years;-) I'm a mother, wife, massage therapist, and baker!
