The Circle Café Bar first opened its doors back in December 2002. It's conception came about from an idea that we got whilst on holiday in the South of France.
Here the cosy atmospheric bars/restaurants are a hive for family get togethers and friends meeting up for a drink and to socialise.
Location was the key to try and recreate this effect in Carlisle. The 18th century glass covered Lowther Arcade, which is sited in the historic Old Courts area of Carlisle's city centre was the perfect place for the Circle Café Bar to evolve into what it has become today.
