Scotland's first cat cafe, Maison de Moggy welcomes you to its new home in West Port Edinburgh.

We offer a unique café experience where customers can relax in the company of speciality cats whilst enjoying the purrfect cuppa!

We are a traditional cat cafe, focussing our attention on our cats and the therapeutic qualities they can offer our customers. We therefore limit our menu to locally produced teas and delicious cakes. Please be assured that all food and drinks will be prepared in a cat-free environment.

Our ground level cafe is a paradise for our cats! There are lots of places for them to climb and play as well as nooks and crannies to explore and snooze inside. We encourage play and cuddles and our dedicated cat nanny will be on hand to make sure cats and customers have the best possible experience.

Our cats have been reared from kittens by the owner and her friends who have ensured that each kitten received the love and nurture that they deserve. The cats have been well handled and, knowing their background, we are comfortable in allowing our customers to get to know the cats too. We will introduce our feline stars on this page in due course!

A cover charge of £7 allows you entrance for a maximum of one hour. Visits can be extended according to availability or multiple hours of moggy time can be reserved at the time of booking. The cover charge goes towards the welfare and upkeep of our speciality cats. Although we have a couple of walk in spaces available, please book a space via our booking site (which will be launched shortly) to avoid disappointment.

We recommend that you arrive no more than 5 minutes early as we do not have a waiting area. Our dedicated cat nanny will brief you on our house rules (including hand sanitiser and the removal of shoes) and get you settled!
