Laura Lee's

Laura Lee’s is an updated take on the American fern bar, with a focus on great food set in a welcoming environment in Richmond's Southside. Our space is comfortable and lovely, with living walls, padded chairs and semi-circular booths, and a classic mirrored bar.

We have a contemporary and family-friendly American menu with seasonal and creative cuisine from Chef Scott Lewis (The Roosevelt, Southbound, Six Burner).

Kacie Shortridge (The Roosevelt) is the talent behind Laura Lee's cocktails, including the signature Tiger's Eye.

The indomitable Michael Smith (The Roosevelt, Amuse), our front of the house manager, won an Elby award in 2017 for his dedication to good service.

Kendra Feather owns 3 other restaurants in Richmond, Virginia. Feather opened Ipanema Cafe in 1998, Garnett's Cafe in 2009, The Roosevelt (with Lee Gregory) in 2011, and was a founding partner of WPA Bakery (Church Hill) in November 2012. She was named Restaurateur of the Year by Richmond Magazine in 2013, and featured in The Virginia Table in 2015.

Laura Lee's is named for Kendra's mother Laura Lee Feather, daughter of Garnett Beckman.
