Crazy Carl’s Subs is a family owned establishment that opened in June 2013. Owned and operated by Jeff and Eric Digges, the two brothers have over two decades of restaurant experience combined. They share a passion for a great sandwich made with quality ingredients. Ingredients that they buy locally whenever possible. They figure you can’t be good local business owners without supporting other local business owners as well.
Crazy Carl’s is named after the third, younger brother Kyle. When the boys were little and had to ride the bus to school, Kyle picked up the nickname Carl when their bus driver mistook his name and started calling him Carl. The name stuck and since then has taken on a life of its own, picking up adjectives such as Happy, Camouflage and Uncle, to name a few of the more positive ones.
Please come visit us soon. Another shared passion is one for exceptional customer service. It won’t be long before they know your name, your favorite sandwich, and who your favorite football team is (hopefully, it’s the Redskins). You’re likely to run into a number of other members of the Digges family as well. Maybe even Crazy Carl himself.
