With over 25 years in the restaurant industry, Mike Goldstein takes his passion for cooking on the road with BACONESSENCE.
The journey began with gourmet sandwich shops and pizzerias, leading to several years as a chef in the fine dining industry. The first of those years were with Noble's restaurants in the Greensboro and High Point areas, and then with his own fine dining concept Saffron's in Burlington N.C. Originally opened in 2002 to 2012 operated by the Chompupong family, Bangkok Bistro made an impression on the Church Street Marketplace, with their authentic Thai cuisine and martini bar.

Our facility is ideal for weddings, banquets, corporate events, and holiday parties. A 7000 square foot facility with 6000 square foot dedicated to the banquet area. Our rustic interior is lined with wood and stone offering a unique atmosphere. We also give you the ability to choose your own caterer and beverage supplier. We also have an outdoor amphitheater which offers a perfect setting for a wedding ceremony. Barn on the Ridge is located 1.5 miles north of Burlington.

The business has been occupying the same spot since it opened in 1944. While the world around us has changed significantly, Beansie's has not been altered much.
