Lazy Ballerina Winery in downtown St. Joseph and Bridgman Michigan features unique wine made from local grapes and fruit in a fun and relaxing atmosphere.

Cousins and Owners, Melanie Owen and Lauren Kniebes, grew up in the small town of Coloma, Michigan in the heart of the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail. Growing up next to their family's vineyards, they were taught about the art of viticulture and winemaking at an early age. They watched as their Grandmother, Juanita Kniebes, made her homemade wine from Concord grapes grown on the family farm. As they grew older, they became avid wine drinkers and aficianados while working together in the Michigan wine industry.

The Lazy Ballerina Winery features a unique setting for food, wine tasting, and special events. The café style atmosphere includes an array of comfortable seating for guests to enjoy wine by the glass, fresh food items, and wine flights and samples. The winery will host special events throughout the year and will be available for guests to rent and host their own after hours events such as showers, birthday parties, or business events.
