The Meadows Restaurant was reopened under new ownership (Terri Katawick) on June 26th of 2008. Terri wanted to reclaim what made the restaurant famous decades before: great food—particularly steaks, burgers, and fish—and a well-served cocktail or beer at a reasonable price.
With that in mind, she built a clientele that included customers from way-back-when and new faces alike. At Metropolitan farmer we have built relationships with our farmer partners. They are not suppliers, but our neighbors, our friends, and in some cases family. As Chefs our job is merely to showcase the hard work the farmer has already put into the product not cover it up.
