The Ming Dynasty first opened its doors for business during the summer of 1970 under the name of ‘South Island Restaurant’. For more than a decade, the restaurant’s original location was in the Rexhame area of Marshfield, MA. The restaurant seated only 62 guests but as the town’s population flourished, we added a full bar & cocktail lounge in 1972 to accommodate our loyal customers. After the relocation and name change, The Ming Dynasty once again enlarged with both the dining room and function room. Today The Ming Dynasty has become a multi-entertainment complex with live entertainments weekly. Here at The Ming Dynasty we are proud to be part of the exciting growth the South Shore communities are undergoing.
